SurgReport is a product of My Scope Diagnostic Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). We operate the website surgreport.com and the SurgReport web application (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account information: When you create an account or subscribe, we collect your email address and payment information. Payment details are processed by our payment provider (FastSpring) and are never stored on our servers.
Usage data: We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics service, to collect anonymous pageview statistics. GoatCounter does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully GDPR compliant. We may also collect anonymous usage statistics such as which templates are most frequently used, browser type, and session duration. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.
Patient data: We do not collect, transmit, or store any patient data. All operative note content, patient names, and clinical information are processed in your browser and remain on your device. Our servers handle only authentication and subscription verification — never clinical content.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your account credentials are stored securely using industry-standard encryption. All connections to our Service use HTTPS/TLS encryption. Patient data and operative notes are processed in your browser and stored in your browser's local storage — they are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Our servers store only your email address, subscription status, and anonymous usage analytics.
